My interior lights look awesome 2! (I have pictures but photobucket is not working!!!)
Do you have any pictures of this?

Here are the pics! This last mod to move the e-brake only cost $14 besides the side projects that came from it. That $14 was all for entrance fee's to the junkyard and parts from there! I am also trying to sell the parts I took out to make this project get me $

In the last pic you can kind of see my interior lights, well one of them (top right above the drivers seat) I will get better pictures when I have a chance

Well apparently no one liked the pictures...
Last night after a few hours of work and waiting for replies on JF I finally hooked up a switch so that when I open the tailgate my interior fogs come on!!! That cost a full nothing. (I got the switch from the junkyard)
I ordered up a new flowmaster muffler and a windshield wiper modular so I can have intermittent wipers again!!! I also have a new cat I will be putting on.
Right now the jeep can not hold highway speeds in 5th so I hope this will help.

WOrks for me after I get the exhaust fixed. I was racing down the mass pike last night (There where big thunder storms with heavy downpours coming and my dog who was with me HATES thunder and the jeep was topless) So I floored it down the pike and could not keep 65 mph!!! On down hills I could gain speed on PERFECTLY flat I could maintain it but even the slightest incline I would drop speed. I came to the biggest hill on my route and floored it in the flat before it, I was doing almost 80 at the bottom and I stayed floored in 5th and lost almost 20 mph! A mile from my house it started to drizzle then under a half mile a way hell opened up and i was in a monsoon! I flew down my dirt road with all my lights on and my wipers on high (I was just like the guy from the first Jurassic Park) We where so close to making it!!!

Lol. I can just picture you and the dog flying through the huge puddles on your dirt road trying to make it to the dock with your dino embryos.

Good thread. Keep it coming.

I finally got my center console bolted down last weekend, that only took a month or so! Yesterday I cleaned up my wiring and Velcro down my fuse box under the console. It looks great now! Then I cut my exhaust off last night. by a bit after 11 it was off and I was off to bed. I will start trying to install the new one today. It looks simple but I doubt it will be. I am tempted to take the jeep for a ride with no exhaust (it is cut off right before the transmission skid plate) but it is LOUD! and it is raining

I finally got out wheelin tonight!!!! I was SOOOO happy. I went last weekend but nothing near what I did tonight. I did not have a spot but I survived. It is fun wheelin stock. Those GSA's suck but that is part of the fun. The hardest part I did was a pretty steep hill with big rocks in it. I made it up the thing. Half way up I realized I wanted my seat belt on. Well it would not come out I guess there is some tilt thing on them I ended up smashing my license plate holder on a tree and pushing in my drivers side brake light a bit. I moved the plate to below my spare tire. I can not wait to wheel more tomorrow my friend is coming over so it will be good times!

and a bad pic of the plate

quick question, when was the last time you changed your air filter? have you tried running without one for a short period of time? before i got my TJ i built a budget '84 'Yota pickup for fun, and I was having a crummy time getting and keeping speed, so i checked my air filter (OLD as CRAP, lol.) so i ran without one for about a week and put a new one in. running a 4banger with no air filter is nifty....not good, but nifty.
