my build is nearing its finish!

some five months ago i made the mistake of taking my 2.5l i4 engine out of my 98 tj........ atleast i thought it was a mistake until i heard its replacement run.... i replaced the little four banger with a 4.3l v6 . after way too much research and patients and about a million trips to the hardware store and 4x4 shop. she actually drives again! so as of now i have a 98 jeep tj with a chevy 4.3l v6/700r4/231c/j. and i couldnt be happier. their was alot more variables in this build than i thought their would be. and what i planned to take me a month (lol yeah right) took me six. but now my baby is almost street legal again!

anyway theirs the backround now heres the discussion. im going to the exhaust shop on wednesday the 6th and i am not sure what kind of exhaust to go with. anybody have any suggestions? im doing dual exhaust but help with pipe size brand of muffler is where i know nothing.... thanks in advance

spencer

make sure you have full gas tank skid before running duals, ive seen few guys run duals with stock skid plate and it melted driver side of tank due to lack of heat protection

i used to have a 1988 chevy blazer with a 4.3 and 700R4 and i got about 17/20 MPG. id imagine it to be about the same in the Jeep. you might even lose a few MPG because the Jeep isnt exactly aero dynamic.

Drone: Annoying vibrating sound that fills the cabin all the time.

I'd say Magnaflow love the sound on my 4.0, not loud and droning, but a deeper note then stock.
