Registered User Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Rochester, NY Posts: 338 | I take the top down in April and don't put it up until Fall. It get rained on all the time. Heck If it's raining really hard I take it out to play in the Huge puddles. The only problem I've ever run into is the turn signal messing up. Never had the air-bag light come on, so I don't have the answer for that one. What I do suggest is you clean that Turn signal connector and reassemble it with bulb-grease to keep the water out. One flaw(?) I've noticed with my Jeep its the defroster grate is a lot bigger than the vent. I figure this is how the water manages to get in the dash. What I did to fix the problem is, I took my old soft windows and cut them up to shield the connectors from the rain. I trimmed the pieces to fit and tucked then inside the dash to cover the turn signal relay and the rest of those sensitive connections. (I also installed a marine grade stereo.) Good luck. __________________ -mpyusko _________ '97 SE Black, 4cyl/5spd, Soft top, Jeeperman Rear Bumper, 33x12.5x15 Trxus M/T's, 4" Lift, 1" JKS MML BLACK JEEP Club V2.0 #84 Rust-Bucket Build-Ups Club Member #1 Pictures of my JeepSAVE PARAGON AP!! |

Remove the steering colum cover and direct a fan at it for a few hours. Usually it drys out and everything is fine. __________________ 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport - 5 speed Silver Metallic finish with black dual tops - Dana 44 Rear 2.25" Suspension Lift with Old Man Emu Shocks Performance Accessories 1" Body Lift Daystar 1" Motor Mount Lift Spidertrax 1.25" Wheel Spacers - 32"x11.5" MT/R Tires |
