im a C3 corvette guy, but bought a new jeep cuase the vette cant make it in the snow......

now selling muh 76 vette (gonna buy a 70-72 in a few years..)

had so much fun this weekend!! went on the following trails:

-------------------------------------
tincup pass (cool trail!!...)

breakneck pass (lovely aspens line the roads!! great pictures... and u can speed along the trails at 20-25 mph in 4 high and 1st and its kinda fun working the steering wheel that quickly )

mosquito pass (lotsa mine buildings to explore... the pass kinda sux though... theres already some patches of ice up there... but nothing that will stop u from going)

tomichi pass

hancock pass

alpine tunnel

phantom road(hwy 67) - some cool tunnels and lotsa cool rock formations...(south of cripple creek)

baldy mnt-(a fun road that can be driven fast in 4-high and 1st 20-25 mph... kinda gives you that offroad racing feel...)

all the above are in colorado...

i think i did pretty good for a newb on my 1st weekend ehh??

Sounds like you had a great first experience! Congratulations. That's what it's all about. Be careful at those somewhat faster speeds & moving that steering wheel quickly.

Also, you sure are lucky to get to experience all that nice scenery & wheelin over there in Colorado. From what I know so far, we don't have anything in GA (scenery wise) that can quite compare to that (at least I haven't been to such a place yet if it exists, but I'm sure as soon as this is posted someone will correct me). So don't take it for granted!
