multi function switch woes

I recently added OEM fog lights to my Wrangler as they did not come with them.
I have a 06 and the only thing I had to do was add the lights and the multi function switch. I noticed this morning while driving to work that I don't have any turn signals nor emergency lights. I know that I have to go to the dealership to have the fog lights upgraded into the system, but why don't the turn signals and the emergency light not working ?, other than Chrysler sold me a defective switch.

make sure that you have the harnesses in tight, make sure you brought the relay over from the one you took out, looks like a small black box, on the back of it. I had to take apart the old multi function, to release the female connectors.

This is my install of foglights on my 06 X you may be prewired.

Yep, its your relay. Pull it off of the back of the old one and pop it into the slots on the new one. I made that mistake too

Thanks truckin88,
I found the relay in back of the old switch and added a relay for the fog lights in the black box in the engine compartment. Everything works, thanks for the pics.

np, if you are prewired, you should be good to go, I figured it was the relay on the back of the switch
