Mud/ Water proofing the Tranny?

ive had to replace 2 clutches in the last 5 months because mud and water is getting into the transmission and tearing everything up... is there any way to prevent this? there was water inside the transmission also

Stop pressing the clutch when it is submerged in mud/water.

Extend your breather lines to the top of your engine bay. There are write ups for modifying the little vent on top of your transmission.

avoid mud and water all together, it only causes trouble.

About the only way to make it live longer if you play in mud. Pick a gear and stick with it.

Rokmen TT, Rokmen control arms, Novak NV241 cable shifter, JKS 1.25" BL + 1" MML.

Anybody can take advice if it doesn't interfere with their plan.

Yep stepping down on the clutch pedal when you're in deep soupy mud only allows the mud to flow in between the clutch disk, pressure plate, and flywheel surface. And no, there is no way to prevent that from happening other than to avoid stepping on the clutch pedal when the clutch/tranny is in deep mud or muddy water.

Stay in 1st gear & if you get stuck & the engine is about to die, don't step on the clutch pedal to avoid killing the engine. Let the engine die in other words. Then re-start the engine in 1st gear without stepping down on the clutch pedal. That will of course mean you will have had to already performed the clutch interlock bypass that will allow the engine to be started without first stepping on the clutch pedal. Starting the engine in gear without first stepping on the clutch won't hurt anything.
