Mrs. Mailman's new ride

I got tired of hearing "Why do I have to drive the 4 door when you have the modded 2 doors?" So, for Mother's Day I got her this:

Ironic, she had the four door because we had three kids at home. Now we're down to one, funny it ended up being Mother's Day when she finally got the two door she's been asking for.

Got a decent deal, swapped the 2008 JKU straight up for this 2005 TJ Rubicon. The TJ has less miles and actually has a higher retail value on KBB. But, I'm sure the four door will be an easier sale for the dealership. So, everybody's happy. Had to drive three hours to the dealer to get it. But, if she's happy it's worth it.

It has a budget boost, pacer wheels, and 32s. Otherwise stock. I know this isn't really tech so far, but I'm going ot use this as the build thread for this one. It's going to be slow and one thing at a time.

Don't really have a specific build plan right now, as she will have to aprove all mods. Here's what I am thinking as a possibility;
- 1.25" body lift
- Savvy under armor
- Vanco brakes
- 35s
- 5.13 gears (yes, it's a 42rle)
- highline fenders (maybe Poison Spyder defenders, or AEV)
- small springs, maybe 3" or so

Of course there will be a million other things to go with like control arms, track bars, armor, blah, blah, blah...

I drive on the right side, what's wrong with you?

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfunction or uninstall themselves at any time.

There is a full-on revolt by the moderators going on right now with regards to the latest practice of many photos being resized to thumbnails.

So, first it was this:
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/el...crack-1526335/

And now the shifter cable broke. had to drive to the college where she teaches, pull the frozen cable off of the transmission, and shift it by hand. Atleast the local dealership has the cable in stock for $50.
