motor mounts not lining up

Installing 2.5

The mount on the drivers side seems to line up but the one on the other side is way off. I bought this jeep in peices so IDK if I have the right mounts or how they are supposed to look. Ideas sujestions?

The picture of driver side, It will move to line up and the bolt go in but that just makes the other side worse.

The jeep is tj 97 Im betting the motor might be a pre 97 IDK

I still have the other jeeps, This is a new project 1997 tj 2.5.

I have been out for a few hours trying to get he mounts to line up. Are 4.0 mounts diffrent than 2.5? These are just what the other guy had so IDK if they are right. I can tell someone had been grinding on the mounts to make them more narrow.

Are the bolts that hold the trans to the skid loose? It might be causing a bind knocking stuff out of alignment

You can pull the drivetrain back with a ratcheting strap but the side side to side play is harder to take out. If your doing a conversion than you may need to swap the motor mount brackets.

What if I end up with it about 1/4" high? The only thing that might do is change the fan spacing right? What I had in mind was if I cant get that last 1" then use a 1/4 adapter plate under the mount.
