Moog vs NAPA ball joints

Started collecting parts for my WJ conversion,

I bought both the MOOG and NAPA ball joints.

The Moog are 'problem solvers'
and the Napa are Precision Premiums

I was told by the Napa manager that they are re branded Spicer pieces and that Napa and Dana go far back.

Judging by just looks the Napa brand seems much nicer, but has a knurled seat. Everyone raves about Moog being the name in ball joints so I'm looking for some feed back. Thanks

NAPA one does look better made. I just dont like the knurled part, since it digs into the knuckle. But I dont think that will be a issue since it takes a long time to wear out good ball joints.

Marking this for later

Go with Spicer.

This is an upgraded Spicer ball joint which I just installed two months ago into my TJ... you do need two of these, one kit does one side. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007N6OHI0/...SIN=B007N6OHI0

I thought Spicer and Napa parted ways. Ive been to several NAPA's looking for some axle joints and they sell dog poop ones now and said they don't carry Spicer. Maybe its a Cali thing or maybe a San Diego thing. Interesting.
