For all of those who have applied so far, how many have sprayed it? Has everybody rolled it on? I have my Jeep back (son had been DD'ing it for the last 6 months), so I'm getting to a point where I could do something with it.

Is it easier to spray on (factoring in all the removal of stuff internal to the Jeep) or just roll it in and only mask off things a bit?

Is there a link/post detailing what the chassis saver is all about?

Keep moving forward. But keep an eye on history, for if you don't, you are doomed to repeat it.

Everyone so far here has rolled. There is one guy in my main post that ordered a kit and also an undercoat gun on the web. I will check to see his status.

Spraying is more complex than a truck bed since you need to do some disassembly of your interior but I think it's almost the same except you will need to mask more for spray.

Like MagnetMan said, the prep work should be just about the same. The only difference is that you will want to cover everything that isn't getting coated with some plastic like a drop cloth.

We will be making one very soon. It has a smaller rubber particle than Herc
and will not be as rough. Will sell for $65 per gallon with rollers.
I'll have a further discounted price for JeepForum members
Packaging will be in Quarts and Gallons
Hey Magnetman,
I have been looking on your website for the kit mentioned here for $65 plus a JF discount and I haven't seen it. Is this still going to be available. I'm ready to buy even if the discount is just free shipping.

I do show it off. I haven't had the passenger side rear fender section of the carpet in for a few months, and I don't have carpet under the rear seats right now. I would like to take it all out, but my mom would freak if she knew that much was gone.

Great writeup and good deal from monstaliner. Just purchased before the special offer runs out. Planning on doing the entire tub of my 4 door JK when I swap out the seats for some mastercrafts. Thanks for the forum for the writeup and manufacture for the special deal!!!

I am glad you enjoyed the writeup. It should be very similar for a JK, maybe just different bolt sizes. Good luck with the install

I just finished rolling mine on yesterday. Honestly, if I had to do it again, I'd spray. It seems like the extra prep for spraying it is definitely worth it and would be a ton easier than the hassle and time it took to get in all the tight places (like around the roll cage and underneath the dash) with the brush. For an actual truck bed, rolling probably isn't that bad but the Jeep has too many curves, grooves, corners, etc.

Looks good. What made you decide to tape of the rear seat brackets rather than take them off? It is only a couple of bolts.
