I have what might be an oddball question. I am really sensitive to odors, new carpets, freshly painted walls, etc, just give me an instant headache. I had a friend who used some beadliner product, wasn't yours, and his jeep stuck for 6 months.

What's the odor like on your product?

Thanks!

I'd stay away from it if I were you.
Look at the new Bed Armor product from Duplicolor. It's water base.

Could be good overnight or a few days. Depends on temps and how long you may have left can open while using.

Normally as soon as you are done, If you sprinkle a little MEK over the surface of what is left in the can it may stay usable for 3 - 4 days.

When you go to use it again, check for a skin over the surface and remove it if it exists. Stir material and see how thick it is. If needed, add a few oz of MEK at a time and mix it in till the stuff looks rollable again. (Small amounts, go slow)

Keeping it in a cool spot helps the life too. I kept my opened can sealed up pretty well in my garage fridge next to the beer.

do you think it is a good idea to coat my whole tub in chassis saver first then roll the liner over the chassis saver ?

Depends on condition of your tub. It certainly will not hurt.

I tried to find pictures of how you covered the bottom mounting points to the sports bar and couldn't find any. How did you cover the mounting points? Did you just tape them off?

Great write up, thanks for putting this together. I just ordered my Monstaliner kit last night.

I just finished pulling out my interior and found a little bit of rust in the footwells. Should I coat this part with chassis saver and then go over it with the liner, or just apply the liner right over the rust? The rust is minor, more of orange discoloration.

It never hurts to take caution and hit it with a little CS. Since it is free, and it goes so far, you won't even miss the few drops needed to protect the area.

ok here it is, after comparing the top bedliners for about a year now, I have concluded, THIS IS THE ONE!

now two questions

1) after watching videos and reading I am still not 100% clear on application, "do you load the roller and spead or pour and then spread with the roller"?

2) father's day is coming up... any up comming promo for that day? (I'd like to leave a hint to my kids and wife )

I highly doubt there will be any better deals than the current one which ends when July comes IIRC. They are dropping the free shipping and charging a small flat rate for shipping. They will still include the free CS though... this is all IIRC.

As for the rolling, both works well. Honestly, I would suggest loading the roller rather than pouring. I found that it gave better results in terms of consistency of thickness and texture.
