Looks good. Why didn't you take the console out fully though? You were most of the way there.

Luck rider and others what did you do with the 4 silver bolts that hold the transfer case linkage bracket? I'm rolling tomorrow and that's all I have left thanks.

I rolled right over it, but you could tape them off. If you have the gold bracket instead of the black one, you will notice it if you tape it off. You could also back the bolt out enough to tape under it and then bolt it back into place so you don't get the bolt itself.

It was an awkward angle to unbolt the airbag control from the console and it gave more than enough clearance to coat that area by just tying it up.

I didn't know the older consoles covered the airbag control module. That is interesting.

Noted for future reference to others doing this project

Yea, the airbag control, rear seat removal/brackets, the rear gate latch cover, and the two plastic covers for the cable pack that runs to my hardtop were the only slight differences compared to your guide.

Your guide was priceless btw, printed and out in the garage with me for all the removal/prep work.

No problem, glad it could help with the tear down. I knew there were differences with the tail gate cover and the rear seat.... If you want to take a couple pics of those with bolts sizes, I would be more than happy to edit the guide to include that stuff for those with older TJs.

Scuffed, Taped and MEKed

First Coat on the tub still wet

First coat on the Door still wet

Dried clean lines at the doors

Dried clean lines at the tailgate

You might also add that I used double sided foam mounting tape to fill the holes. They work like the foam earplugs except you can adjust size to fit.
