From what MagnetMan said in the intro thread, it will have a little more shine to it than the black thanks to the base. I think he would be the best to give info though.

Colors will have a higher sheen than black but will not be too glossy.

are you going to do a similar promo for the color kits as well? what is an approximate price offset from black to the colors?

How much pressure should we apply to the scour pad when sanding? I have white paint interior and I am not sure how to gauge if I have scoured enough. How hard is it to over sand it?

No, it is not hard to over sand it. If you are unsure, keep the M.E.K. handy and wipe regularly. Stop that area when you see the paper towel turn white (ok, it is white already, you know what I mean).

Edit: I am going to have the same issue when I do the Rubi.

yea, that makes sense, Ill run a test area to gauge how hard to go.

Am I reading your first post correctly that you can use MEK to wipe away accidents?

While it is wet, yes you can. I was actually just going over the FAQ in paper version, so that is fresh in my mind.

The Patriot Blue and black look so great together. While the liner in Patriot Blue would looks sweet, the black/blue combo works well.

Using the scuff pad in the kit it's really impossible to over scuff.

You want to remove the gloss of the clear coat. You can even use 100 grit sandpaper if the scuff pad feels like it is wearing out and not scratching the surface anymore.

You haven't sanded Jeep OEM paint then have you It is pretty thin. Ok, it is easy to sand through the clear, but the paint is a bit harder. I guess you would have to be trying to sand through the paint to actually do it.
