Is a motor mount lift necessary when installing a 1 inch body lift on a 06 unlimited rubicon? I see more and more people who have them. thanks

No it's not necessary, But can make the BL less painless.
Also makes extra room when working under your heep. Help with vibes if you have a SL.

No, it is not necessary. You will want to drop your fan shround a little, unless you install a MML. The MML is mainly for helping with driveline vibes. The search button is your friend:
