Mirror compass temp problem

I've had my '06 unlimited for two weeks now.......

Looks like my mirror with compass & temperature indicator has flaked out. I've read the manual & followed those instructions to no avail. I set it for zone 9 (Michigan) & held for 5 sec more to get to CAL & the display returns to all segments lighted.

When I test drove it at the dealer in Bismarck two weeks ago, I noticed it was full segment display but that settle out after I did a 360 slow turn. Compass & temp were both pretty close.

I powered down by removing the battery terminals.....no fix.

What coarse of action is next?
