metalcloak lifts

Does anyone know anything about the metalcloak suspension lift kits? If I were to put on the 3.5 lift would it be able to clear my 35's? Thanks

With appropriate bump stops sure, but a 1 inch body lift would go a long way in the up travel that is meant to be gained by this kit (1") to "properly" clear and run those 35s.

If you're going with the metalcloak lift, may as well go with the arched fenders they sell too! Than you'll have MORE than enough room! Haha

35's With bump stopping it can be done but a 33 will work better.

Im thinking of the same exact thing, but plan on adding a 1" BL and i already have their arched fenders. Check out this thread from WF, very helpful. check out his build tread too, it'll really help you make a decision on this lift.

I get 5.25" up travel in the front and 6" in the back with MC arched fenders, BFG 35's, rear outboard shocks and their 3.5" springs without an body lift. I have short body shocks and a 1.25" BL on the way, which should get me close to 7" up and down - front and rear.

If those are accurate #'s you are doing well. I have 3" of lift front & rear along with a body lift & I can only manage 4" up in the front & 3.75" in the back. Even with relocated mounts I'd probably only gain a inch of up travel max front & rear before getting into the fenders.

Front is the shock tower and fender at the same up travel position, so I have a BL, new shock mounts and 14" short body 7100's on the way. On the rear, my track bar hits the same time my shock bottoms. There is another 3" to go when I take them out of the equation, so I'm linking the rear and changing the 5100's out for the short body 7100's, which should get me right about 7" up and down front and rear. Worst case I will trade the MC fenders out for cut out high rise fenders, but I want aluminum and I think Genright is my only option. I prefer to keep the Metalcloak fenders if possible, because of the versatility on / offroad with the flares.
