Ah, I forgot about that photo. I really like the way that worked out, but I have lights on the bumper that might occlude blinkers done that way. Something to keep in mind though.

Nothing special, we just leave it be. The evap canister has its own basic shielding, and the most that is likely to happen is mud covering it, which shouldn't hurt it.

If you are thinking about rocks hitting it, any rock that would tear into the canister probably would have ripped through the plastic inner liner anyway.

Hope this helps.

Just ordered my front fenders/rockers/rear flares yesterday... Unfortunately no money yet for the 4" flares, but... maybe the cops won't mind so much here! As soon as I sell some stock parts on Craiglist I'll be good. Thanks for the great service yesterday, Matsonian! For anybody who hasn't dealt with them yet, I recommend it. I had ordered just the rocker guards due to funds, and he called to make sure I was planning on ordering the rest of the kit at some point, because the rockers wouldn't fit quite right without it. Great experience, and of course I ended up reallocating some funds to the the parts I needed

Great question! We weighed the OEM at 21 lbs and ours at 22.5 lbs.

Very nice I honestly thought they'd by at least 5-6 pounds heavier. Now they look even better!

Well, I took the plunge today and ordered my front fenders and flares. I wanted to publicly thank Matson for not only taking the time to answer all of my questions, but doing so with an enthusiasm that shows real enjoyment for what Metal Cloak is doing in the industry. I am now even more looking forward to this next step in the evolution of my Jeep!
