In all seriousness the zipper tie option will most likely be the most stable on windy days but if your all worried about your rollbar pads then the only solution to that is to by a bunch of those sunglass, eyeglass bands and cut to fit then put the zip tie in it after cutting to fit and wrap it up. Or just use the zip tie because your roll bar padding will fade faster than paris hiltons career after being in the sun a while!

I have used bungee balls (if that is what they are called) from a temporary shelter. Pass the cord through the grommet and back around and over the ball and they hold very well. Not any damage to the padding. Is that mesh top the same material they make dog sun shelter tops for kennels from?.

Thanks for the video.

The bungee cords are a great improvement, though you still use a ziptie to the windshield.

I would have liked to see how the top reacts to 70mph driving conditions.

Another question: The windjammer comes with the package, right? Why wasn't the wind jammer wasn't installed in the video? Do you have a price for the setup with out the jammer?

And Spiderweb: What do you say to a group purchase on these? It looks like you have 8-10 orders from JF right here. Can you save us guys a few bucks?

Have been subscribed to this thread from the beginning. I have been waiting to order one, wanting to hear feedback from those who have them.
Now, I'm really wanting one. What colors are going to be offered?

Just watched the video, those are the bungee balls I was talking about. One more grommet in the rear 90 of each side would keep it up. Just a thought for the future, could you add an extra 8-10 inches of fabric in the front with zip for sunglasses, gps... light storage. I see another mfr does this in the corners of their mesh top. Like my post earlier said, I already use those bungees for attaching a short mesh shelf above the sunvisors and there has never been any damage issues. Cool product, looking forward to the color availability, though black works just fine for a sun/wind shade. I have a black one somewhat similar on my boat I made from kennel netting and it dries suits quickly, just don't sit under it if you do not want to get dripped on.

This product seems really cool...except...
I saw the video and it looks to me like the top is shiny...there's a lot of glare coming off of the material. Im not fond of that at all to be honest. Anyone else?
Any feedback on this?

I bought one of these last week and just got to REALLY test it out today on a long drive. It was AWESOME!!
We drove up Route 17 from Jacksonville, FL to Jeckyll Island, GA in the bright, hot sun. Then left the TJ parked in the swealtering hot parking lot at the beach for 3 hours. When we got back in it was actually comfortable to sit under it and the seats didn't get bleached by the sun while sitting there. The wife commented how great it was to get the fresh air but not the direct sun. On the way back I clipped the zip-ties from the rear section and re-zip tied it (always keep extras with me) into a windbreak behind the seats - WORKED GREAT!! Doing about 75 down I-95 two different Jeeps pulled up alongside to comment and ask about it.

Keep in mind - I have had the other major brand of mesh top on my Jeep for years. Why is this one different? First you don't have to use the no-drill header. That means if a sudden rain comes up you don't have to struggle getting the no-drill off before putting the soft top up. Second, this one stays on my rig ALL the time. Mine didn't 'ripple' in the wind, cause any extra noise, or any discomfort. Instead it made it much more comfortable.

If you can't tell - I'm impressed with it. The simplicity and the cost. The new improvements are even that much better from the looks of the video.

Nice, how effective is the windjammer at keeping it quiet in the cab?

Quiet? There really isn't any quiet in my Jeep, windjammer or not. The windjammer kept the wind from blowing at us from behind so it kept it just a bit more comfortable without blowing our hair from every direction. Keep in mind, I used my rear section of Spiderweb Mesh Top as a windjammer - not the separate windjammer. Here's a pic to explain:
