Low speed bucking

I have a 2000 tj 4.0 5 speed that bucks when I'm going slow. It only happens when I have decreased my speed and am going maby 5 miles per hour. Only happens when I'm in two wheel drive. It does not happen if I'm accelerating, or if i just brake, only when I stay at 5 mph or whatever. And I can only get rid of it by putting the clutch in or speeding up. It's like when I'm going 5 mph and just slightly use the gas it jumps. Not really a problem just curious. I have lockers if that matters. It doesn't happen when I don't use the gas.

Do you have an SYE and DC driveshaft?

yeah 1st gear 35 inch tires, no on the driveshaft

Whats the gears in the axle? Cause high gears will cause the motor to buck and stall.

Are you being easy on the gas? With 4.88s and 35s this sounds pretty normal...its geared pretty low. Mine will buck like crazy in first at very low speeds if I'm not smooth on the gas.

So, you have 4.5" lift, D60 with 4.88 and 35's but no DC shaft and SYE???
With smooth throttle at about 5 MPH... you feel the pulsing of the DS cause it is not made for those angles. Do you have adjustable CAs or stock?

I'm a little lost but we'll get it... A Double Cardan Drive shaft will have splines in the shaft to adjust for length during suspension movement. It requires an SYE and adjustable CAs to dial in the pinion angle.
The factory shaft will not work for the driveline angles you have with 4.5" of lift unless your D60 is a high pinion.
