I see quite a few posts by people asking about this, and the only thing people say is "It's easy.", so I figured I'd toss up some pictures, a bit of commentary and how I did it.
First, If I had to do it again, I would have skipped regearing my LP Dana 30 with a lockrite, and just went for the HP with an ARB.

I wont bore you with getting the front axle out. Stu-offroad.com has all of that and is a great reference
Total time removing the axle, knuckles and steering was about an hour.
I owe all the thanks in the world to mrblaine for the next set of pictures. He had the patience to deal with me and set me up with exactly what I needed. (Easier said than done
) He has likely forgotten more about all things Jeep than Ill ever know.
