Loud Clunk Under Back of Jeep

2003 SE, 35,000 miles.
Just recently, every time I go over a bump I hear a loud metal-to-metal clunk under the back of the Jeep.
I have jumped up and down on the rear bumper trying to duplicate the sound but no luck. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Maybe the upper shock mount is broke or the trac bar is loose.....

Or, the upper bushing on the shock. Had one that slid sideways in the top of the shock. Same clanking sound, never could reproduce the sound by jumping on it, was not enough pressure.

Check the track bar. I had a similar sound that couldn't be duplicated by jumping up and down, but was by pushing side-to-side. A good torquing of the track bar solved everything!

anyone have a torque spec for the trac bar?

Check the left side of this webpage for a quick reference torque guide.
