Lost Med/Hi Blower Speed
In GM's this could ba a motor problem OR a fan motor resistor problem.
Does that hold true in the TJ? Mine is a 2000 Sport. Low... Med/Low and High speeds all work fine. Only Med/High does not blow. What do the Jeep Guru's say? Jabba

I just lost all but High in mine. I had it fixed under warranty. My service ticket said they replaced the resistor, so I'd guess and say that could be your problem as well.

Hey buddy -
Defintly check out the resistor and don't have anyone do it for you!!! This is the easiest install ever. There is a black plastic kick plate under the dash board (down in the foot well) in the passenger side. Take the plastic kick plate off (4 bolts) and the resistor (its a big one) is staring you in the face. Any jeep dealer will sell you the part. It is about 50 dollars. That is how i fixed my problem, and it was the same issue as you had. Email me direct if you have any questions. Andy of Pittsburgh |

Thanks Andy... of Pittsburg. I'm digging the Steelers BTW... I will root for them unless they are across from the Colts. No doubt though that the best 4 or 5 teams in the league are AFC this year. Jabba |
