Loose Switch in Ignition Cylinder (Power for Radio)

Anyone ever had problems with the ignition cylinder (key cylinder in steering column). As far as starting the jeep everything works great. But when you wiggle the key around, the power to the radio goes on and off. Itís as if something is loose in the key ignition cylinder. Anyone have this issue before.

I'm having the same problem with my 97 TJ. What did you do replace the cylinder? Not only does it cause the radio to cut out it also renders the windshield wiper inoperative.
