Looking to paint my Moab's Gloss Black

I Love the look of my Moab's but wish they were black, really Love the look of Black steelies, so I thought what the Hell I'll paint the Moab's black! Anyone done this? What do you think? I've painted the spare w/ gloss black looks pretty bad @@s IMHO. Think I'm gonna go for it? Any Pic's What do you think?

What type of gloss black paint did you use? I've been wanting to do my ravines black for a while but duplicolor's wheel paint doesn't come in black.

I've did my winter wheels with an Ace brand black lacquer, was surprised how well they held up to washings after whatever CDOT sprayed on the roads all winter. Looking to use the same Black lacquer on my Moab's unless some else knows of something better?

Not Moabs but aluminum wheels nonetheless.

I used Krylon fusion satin black then used Duplicolor Wheel Clear coat on 'em. Worked pretty darn well.






2005 Lime Green Rubicon.

I used duplicolor. It's not black though. It's a dark charcoal mettalic. We did do my friends canyons with duplicolor flat black, and then just cleared over that to get gloss.

I use the duplicolor clear for wheels. They have been holding up very well.
