What should I ask about??
What known issues do these have??
It is the extended wheel base model.

Check for the rear main seal leaking, normal, and not a deal killer.
Also do a check here on the infamous OPDA, oil pump drive assembly, the 05 are prone to that, big right up on that. Again It would not be a deal killer either, just good to be aware of.

I purchased my 2005 Rubicon in 2008 when it had just under 17K miles on it. It now has 68K miles and here are the only issues I've had to deal with:

Shifter cable broke
Rear Main Seal (fixed under 7 year/70K mile warranty transfered from first owner)
Fuel spit-back (fixed using the GM filler hose fix posted in this forum)
Angry Sparows (front drive line rebuilt and balanced)
Heater - A/C fan transistor (easy fix)

Jeep looks and drives like new still.

I'd ask,"would you take $5,000 under your asking price?"

take for a test run, if you hear or feel anything odd, ask him about it, and use that to lower the price.
