LJ stance and ground clearance

I wanted to post some measurments here for comparison with other stock LJs. My 05 seems to sit low in the back so I took some measurements from the ground to the bottom of the plastic pontoon bumper ends.

Front measures 19"
Rear measures 16.5"

Tires are MTRs and pretty worn; 245/75/16 on stock Moabs. I'd like to know if this is a normal stance for an LJ. TIA!

The rig only has 19,000 miles? Hard to believe bad rear springs, etc...

I am not saying that these two points that I measured from the front and rear are supposed to be equivalent. I just wanted to put some numbers out there for comparison. It "appears" to sit lower in the rear relative to the front.

Mine sits with the rear 1.5" higher stock at the flare.

Do you have a hitch on it? If you do the added weight of it will drop the rear down a bit. I think mine was pretty level if not raked to the front a little when I got it.

Interesting comment; it does have a hitch. Apparently, it is quite heavy.

That is probably why, A lot of people get a bumper with the hitch in it so as not to add any more weight to it. If you are not going to make it an off road warrior and use it for your DD you can get a set of 1.5" - 2" spacers and it should level it out.

You do know that the front bumper is higher than the rear bumper? By 2.5 - 3"?
Your numbers are about right.
