Can someone else grab the plans and post them so that you don't need to go into Google Docs to see them?

Ok, finally got around to adding photos. There are a few dimensions that I would tweak if I did it again, but it worked out really well.

You have just given me a great idea for a weekend project for my TJ.

Looks great - how did you make the 90° bend in the aluminum plate?

My father in law owns a machine shop

I'm sure that you could have any shop shear and bend a sheet for you for next to nothing. Another option would be to get an 2" angle and rivet the top and back to it.

Also I should mention that the location for the door hatch is incorrect. Should be 9" from the end, not the cut corner. I will try to update the PDFs asap.

I am planning on using these plans for my LJ. How is it holding up and would you make any hanges to the design?

I can't see the drawings/specs on the storage box.
Any other way to get ahold of this info ??

The plans are in the link at the end of the first post. I clicked it and it opened for me.

really like this design... seems like instead of having the threaded links on the outside you could angle the vertical piece so the child restraint anchors were inside the box, and then have those threaded links on the inside where they were more secure.

PM's you back, but I will answer here in case the same question comes up.
I believe it was 1/4" thick. I think it works well, but would consider adding an angle along the back if you plan on loading anything really heavy back there, but I mounted my jack across the back and that takes all the flex out of the middle. It's been about 2 years and it still looks brand new, and I wouldn't change a thing.
