If you don't mind me asking, what are they charging you do do the flares?

Are you bringing them in off the jeep or are they lining them while installed?

there's a member on here that Line-x'd his flares and had pics. They looked good. Maybe he'll chime in with how they're holding up. Maybe do a search "painting flares" see what you can find.

Bob's boring build:

I'd love to see some abused Line-X'd TJ flairs. Been interested in how the flares and coating hold up to abuse?

Who knows. I plan on getting my rear 4'' xenons coated once my tube fenders are finished.

I did mine back in July of 05. They still basically look the same as new. Although the sheen has worn off and look more like a flat black now. I have rubbed up against trees with them and the trees look like a belt sander hit them. This stuff is very tuff and is there to stay. Best $100 I ever spent on the JEEP

That is good to hear. so the flares still have the pliability and added toughness from the Line-X. nice.

I decided against it, they will only do the top of the flares, not under them. they told me to have them removed, i finally found a line-x that will put primer on it, but again, i decided against it, they dont apply the warranty to it, and the charged 100 for it, i think i answered all the questions

That's too bad. These people sprayed every square inch of the flare, but I did have to take them off. The guy told me if he only sprayed the top side that it would peel off. He said that you have to "encase" the item to have it stick. Like dipping something in cement and pulling it out to dry.
