You can make a drop bracket for where the linkage attaches to the body if you cannot get the transfer case to shift right after adjusting the linkage.

Here is an example I drew up:

So how difficult is it to adjust the linkage. I mean the directions sound pretty simple, but when I'm under my jeep nothing ever goes as smooth as the directions show.

You bolt the bracket to the tub.

Then the linkage bolts to the new, lower mounting holes on the bracket.
