Lift for my DD

What would you do for a lift on a DD that will be wheeled moderately on weekend?

I have an 05 tj 4.0 with a 6 speed. Lookin to get some lift on a college kids budget too. Thinkin 3" but I can't make up my mind, between a "real" lift and a BB.

Help me out.

Thanks, JBecker

I am in the same situation with school. I first bought the spacer lift and it looked good. I ran it at Rausch Creek and made it on some of the black trails, although it wasn't pretty. Cleared 32". I later sold that lift and went with the 4" superlift. It came with everything i needed including shocks. It rides great on the road and has good flex for a short arm. My buddies all run Rubicon Express, but that was a bit high for my price range and it rides real stiff for a DD. I drive from PA, to upstate NY on a weekly basis, and I can tell you that with the 4" and 33x10.50 BFG it still handles great. For the position im in now with grad schoo I couldnt be happier.

I just ordered a SYE and Tom woods DS but thats only because I dont like the look of the T case Drop. I have had it on for over a year and no problems yet... so I guess my answer would be no, but you'll prob want to at some point down the road.
As for the coil spacer, you might get little vib without a sye or t case drop, but nothin major from my experience.
