Lift Kit Wrangler X

I have a 2003 wrangler X and was looking at different lift kits. I dont want to spend thousands of dollars. I wanted to know what are good brands of lift kits for road/street use. I know rough country and other kits are stiff on the road.
I want a kit that is smooth on the road because i will be using it for work and a little offroad.
So i really want a smooth ride on the road.
Please list some good brands for on road use.
Thanks

If your looking for a kit I that isn't going to leave you completely broke would start with these brands.
BDS
Zone
RCD
Full Traction

You need to add details though. How much lift, budget, what kind of wheeling you plan on doing? You can buy a lift kit but most kits do lack parts that are needed to give you the best ride quality and performance.

Prehaps under $1000 and looking for about a 4" lift. will be doing minor offroading nothing crazy. I wanted a lift kit that is really well on the road/street. Something that is not stiff but smooth on the road.

Considering that you are wanting the 4" you have to look at the possibility that you may have to install an SYE the higher you go with the suspension. You may have driveline vibrations which if not taken care of will result in blowing pinion seals. Have you considered a 3" suspension lift with a 1" Body lift?

alot of people have the RC 2.5" lift but as far as smooth riding it is far from it with the 2.2 shocks. Get a quality set of shocks if you go with the 2.5" Alot of people also run the RE kits but i can't comment on them as i have no experience with their kits, as well as tera.

If you are trying to save a little I personally would go with the Zone offroad 3" suspension lift. You can upgrade the shocks to the Nitro shocks if you like and can also include the BL and MML. That gets you pretty much well started, you may want to also add a front adj trackbar and will want to look into a good set of control arms

I have the RC coils on my Jeep still but will be going to the AEV 3" coils. The RC coils are pretty good, but their 2.2 shocks are way too stiff. You could consider the RC kit with a set of bilstein shocks.

I have a 2003 X. I have the 4" Rough Country Kit. I like it. Since 2006. Paid $499. Just recently added long arms.
