Lift help for 35" tires and installation

Hi guys. I'm new to the forum and have a couple of questions...

First off, with suspension lifts, do you guys install your own?
If not, could you give me an estimation of cost for a shop to do it?

I'm planing on 35" tires, so I've figured I need 4" of lift. Does that sound good? Also does anyone have any suggestions on which kit I get? It'll be about 50/50 appearance/function. I've heard some have much better rides than others...

Thanks in advance...

Likely because that particular question gets asked several times a week, the answer changes very little, and some people get very aggravated when dead horses are beaten into a fine pulp. If you search around a little, you can find many excellent and comprehensive threads on the topic already.

They would be known as "Stickys"! Or the search button is a great resource also?
