Let's see your front bumpers!!

Hey all. With the upcoming tax refund (@#$@ well better be a REFUND), I am starting to think of things for the money pit....I mean Jeep. (no, I really do mean money pit....) Anyway, I have been searching online, and the forum to see what kind of front bumpers everyone has one their rigs. Trying to get ideas, see what I think looks good. I gotta get rid of this bling already...it's starting to drive me nuts. .....not that there's anything wrong with that. (ahh, Seinfeld)

Behind the license plate is the winch and the two big holes in the ends are for the PIAA 510's which are on their way to me.

What do you do about the airbag sensor when you swap out?

95 lbs - the chamfered edges make it LOOK heavy, but really it's just slightly more than an ARB (85 lbs). I picked it up by myself and it wasn't bad at all. Surprisingly light actually.

Leave it exactly where it is - which as far as I can tell is somewhere between the transmission and the stereo / AC controls.

The TJ uses an accelerometer which is mounted in the cab. There's no sensors in the bumpers at all. Nothing to worry about.

However on vehicles which do have sensors in the bumpers, RA actually makes mounts for those. It's just not required on the TJ.

Thanks Oman.
I wondered about that.
It's weird that mopar advertises a bumper that is "fully tested to work with the airbag"
Truthfull advertising?

toys by troy....(not my oil leak)

What's coming through is alive. What's holding up is a mirror. But what's singing songs is a snake looking to turn this piss to wine. They're both totally void of hate, but killing me just the same. The snake behind me hisses what my damage could have been. My blood before me begs meopen up my heart again. And I feel this coming over like a storm again. considerately. Venomous voice, tempts me, drains me, bleeds me, leaves me cracked and empty. Drags me down like some sweet gravity.
