led turn signal trouble..

I put 3/4" led turn signals in my tube fenders and I'm having a little trouble. The led lights have 2 wires and my wiring harness has 4. Theres a white, black, blue, and black with yellow strip. Does anyone know what they all are? When I hook up the white to the white and black to black the signals work fine but blink really fast. can someone tell me which wires are which so I can wire them correctly.

I just did the same thing and here is what I figured out.

-LED Ground (Black) goes to the colored wire (blue or brown) depending on what side.

-LED Hot (White?) goes to the Black wire with Yellow stipe.

This is what I used for my marker lights on my hood. They come on constant with the marker lights and blink opposite of my front turn signals just like the flare mounted light.

Its kind of weird the way two hot wires go to it. It must be the relay that just cuts power to it when it is flashing. Anyways hope this helps brother.

Also, about it blinking check this out.

I opted to cut the circuit and it worked perfectly. Its a little faster than normal but acceptable.

I hooked the white to white black to black. They flash really fast, ive tried everything. i hooked the blk with yellow stripe to both whites and it slowed to normal but it makes both turns flash like hazards. Tried to grounding some to the frame and nothin. the white is hot as well as the blk w/ yellow

Are these your primary turn signals? If they are I believe that they have to have 3 wires. My front turn signals have 3 wires and marker light only two. Sorry I cant be any more help. My marker black to black/yellow and white to color(brown or blue) works. You said that you had it all working before but it was just blinking fast? Did you try the relay mod? Here is an article about wiring up two wire LED's.

I did the modded flasher and it didnt last, I put in an EP-26 for LEDs and they work fine....but if you put the hazards on they will blow the flasher.
