LED tail light back up lights.
I had an idea for back up lights for getting the "cheaper" round LED tail lights without back up lights. My Warn bumper has the W carved out.A good place to mount back up lights(inside the bumper). My question is, do I just wire them to the original back up lights and do I need some flasher relay I keep reading about to make the lights work properly? Thanks

If you use LED backups (good luck finding them), I don't think you'd need a relay. If you use regular 12V halogen style lights, you will need a relay.
I also have the Warn rear bumper, and had considered mounting some small back-ups inside the "W". But I couldn't find an LED backup light that small. I ended up using a small set of 50W lights, ran through a relay. Again I don't think you'd need a relay with LED's, because they draw very little power. |

If you run the wires for the original factory back-up lights to the "New" mini lights in the bumper you don't need to change anything and they will come on when the tranny is shifted into rev.
I have a WARN front bumper and have the orange side-marker lights behind the W and they wired to the factory parking lights.
