No sarcasm.... really never noticed. Or noticed but did not realize some were 97-99's. Don't see many arly Saharas round here.

265/75/16 on stock jeep wheels and they measure out at around 32.2" tall. Rubbed on control arms and sway bar. Doable but with a little rubbin. Off road? nope.

From bottom of flare to top of the tire My front measures 3.25 inches and my rear is 4.25 inches. No rubbing lock to lock on the street with aftermarket rims. This is on a stock 2003 sahara with soft top (pictured above)

These are old old pics of my TJ, but I wouldn't want to do anything bigger than a 31. Perhaps the old style MT/R were a bit bigger than 31", but they stuffed on even the slightest flex.

just installed a lift on a jeep the guy was running 33 mts on stock hight no body lift either lol

I ran 33x10.50x15s for a while. They rubbed my flares, but self clearanced just fine. I would say, stick with 31s.
