Knocking at driver's side tie rod

Hello again! I need some input about a nagging knock I've been getting for a while now... It started when I still had the stock steering parts on. When going over a series of bumps, or a generally bumpy road at speed, I would hear quick knocks in succession while going over the bumps, and to a degree I could feel a looseness in the steering simultaneously. I looked and looked for a problem, and couldn't find one, everything seemed tight and operating just fine. Now, I've got a brand new Currie HD steering kit on, my hubs and brake parts in front are brand new, and all my suspension is snug as a bug, but I'm still getting this knock. I've noticed that the tie rod on the drivers side of the Currie kit has enough roll to it that it actually does make a knocking sound, and I'm wondering why this is. I'm pretty much convinced this is where the sound is coming from. Everything is installed properly and seems to have proper fitment, and as I said before, I had the same knock before the steering upgrade (or at least it seems that way, and I was actually suspicious of the same cause with the previous set up). The only thing I can think of that *may* have something to do with this is that my caster is a little off. It is equal on both sides, but the measurement itself is not exactly where the alignment machine said it should be. Any ideas as to why this is knocking, and what I can do to make it subside? Thanks!

Haha it's actually passenger side. I mixed it up after I crawled out from under the Jeep!

Here's a "first day with the top down and doors off" bump!

I would remove the bolt from the trackbar (axle end) and check it over. I'm also suspecting a bad shock (or improper shock ratio). I seems like the tire may be bouncing and giving you a loose feel. Check the shock bolts again. Have someone bounce the front while you look.

Mine pretty much does the same thing and do this day have not figured out what it is. I can reproduce it while going over the small bumps or while turning and hitting little divots in the road. Replaced u-joints, trackbar, disconnects and hubs. Only thing I haven't replaced yet is the actual tie-rod/drag with a Currie setup just yet.

If you ever find out what it is let me know, I pretty much just gave up and deal with the noise. Nothing I can find appears to be broken or lose and I have gone over the front end with other people and haven't been able to find jack squat.
