Keys
I recently bought a 99 TJ Sport as a "3rd" vehicle; however, my primary car now just sits in the driveway as I can't seem to drive the Jeep enough (sometimes I make excuses to get out and "run errands."
Anyway, the question - The Jeep came with one set of keys that were not original. They start the engine and open/ lock the tailgate, but do not operate the airbag lock or the center console lock. Any suggestions about having a key made to fit the airbag on/ off button and console lock? Are they supposed to be operated by the same key? Thanks.

They should be operated by the same key. If they do not, you either have a bad copy or some of your components have been rekeyed.
One way to tell would be to go to a Jeep dealer and give them the lock code on the tumbler within the lock in your door. They should be able to get a set of genuine Jeep keys. |

The dealer can cut you a new key right off your Vin#. I would highly suggest that. That key should work your air bag deal. Sounds like somone may have had the jeep re-keyed after a theft or something like that and just forgot to have the airbag deal done at the same time.
