I recommend the stock air intake with a K&N filter. Your Jeep just doesn't rev high enough or breath hard enough to need an upgraded intake. Go look at one of the graphs charting hp vs. rpm in either company's literature. There are no real gains below 3K to 3.5K rpms. How much time do you spend in that rev range?

I do believe the K&N filer alone is worth the money because it can be reused for the life of the Jeep.

Though those of us who wheel in dusty conditions have begun to call the K&N an "automatic silica injection system" because it doesn't stop the ultra-fine dust as well as the factory filter does.

Once K&N releases their pre-filter in the next 60 days or so designed to improve its' fine dust filtration abilities, it'll be a better way to go.

When you have a choice, buy American made.
