Just had a Flowmaster muffler installed >>

I just had a flowmaster 2 chamber muffler installed. JUST the muffler, I am still running the stock tailpipe. Sounds more agressive but not annoyingly loud. Pretty quiet actually. It did make a noticable difference in power. I can climb into the rpms faster and easier. I did not feel any loss of bottom end torque whatsoever! Cost me $125.00 out the door.

Flowmaster has several levels of sound from different Flowmasters available. I've thought of putting one on my Jeep, and probably should, considering I doubt it could be any louder than tire noise (or, in the winter, soft top rattle)

I will agree that the added boost of hp was noticeable. I really noticed it immediately on my Chevy truck.

I would not recomend the 40 series with the 2.5L. It sounds to much like the ricers. I've had it for about a year and I think i'm going with the 50 series next. I've heard it sounds much better.
