Story (optional): This Jeep is my first vehicle. I got it almost 4 years ago on July 3rd of 2008. Ever since I got it I knew I wanted to mod it and wheel it. I still only had my driving permit then so I needed to get a job and my license. In February 2009 I got a job and my license and so I started saving to start modding it. November 2009 I bought a lift and tires/wheels. The upgrades have continued steadily since then and have been funded by my job. I now go to VT and am living the poor college student life. Savvy corners will be here next week, but other than that i can't afford to do too much except wheel it. I wheel the jeep often at places like Rausch Creek, The Cove, and Crozet. I love crawling in the rocks and hate going through mud. I'm not afraid to scrape some paint off the rig or add character to it either. The main mods I have my mind on now are a trailer to tow it and a welder for obvious reasons. Thanks for taking the time to read.

I now have the Jeep of my dreams and get to enjoy EJS from the good seat.

Story:
My Dad bought the jeep about six years ago when I was 13 years old. This would be my dads weekend toy until I turned of age to legally drive. Well for about three years it did not change much, the only mods that happened were what my Dad could find at the local Pepboys. Then when I got my license my Dad gave me the jeep, little did he know that I was going to make some big changes. The first was to take off the stupid air vents that were on the side of the fenders! Once I got a job I basically saved up until I could get the mods that I wanted. My favorite is the Tummy Tuck, it was the most challenging mod I installed. I learned that I would hate snap rings from doing the SYE as part of the Tummy Tuck. My goal was to get the jeep pretty much built the way I wanted before the graduated High School. Which I feel I have achieved. At the end of June I will be moving to Jacksonville, Fl. I hope to find better places to venture offroad than what I have here in South Florida (not much basically).

Story (optional): Just a poor college kid trying to build a Jeep. I have paid cash for everything. If I don't have the money for it, it doesn't go in it. I bought the Jeep 5 years ago when I was a junior in high school and started building it from there. It was in sorry shape, but is turning into what I want it to be. I have a set of 1 ton axles ready to go in when my tires are shot (they are getting there). Future plans aside from the tons include: keeping it low, stretching it out to 100-102 and still DD'ing it.

Story (optional): Hi i purchased my 2003 rubicon about 3 years ago with 28000 miles with 33's and the Airock kit since then i have only done a few mods that are listed above. It was my daily driver up in till a month ago i was getting fed up with putting 600 plus miles a week on my jeep for work i decided to bite the bullet and buy a car to save on gas. Since my gas bill was a car payment anyway ( getting ride of the jeep was not a option) it worked out great and now I can finally enjoy wheeling my jeep on the weekends again without having to worry what am i going to drive if i break anything.

BF Goodrich 35/12.50/15 KM1 tires
Black Rock 15x8 steel wheels
CJ tailgate
Home made rocker guards/beefy bumpers

Story: This was my first Jeep. I've owned it for a few years and intend to keep it for many years to come. It has been to Moab many times and wheeled many of the trails that Colorado has to offer. I purchased it bone stock and have been wheeling and upgrading it as necessary. It started on 30" tires, then came 31s, then 33s, and now 35s. It will soon get a belly up and eventually some beefier control arms and steering. It has had many ups and downs....getting me through trails I never thought I would do, wheeling with rigs on 40" tires, and leaving me stranded a couple of times. The little 2.5L leaves a bit to be desired at times but I couldn't be happier with this little Jeep.

Story: I got this jeep when I was fifteen. It was a rental car in Hawaii before me, so completely stock. I have spent the last 6 years paying it off and building it up. It is finally about where I want it for my DD and intermediate crawling. The parts sure do add up. I am a busy college student right now, but I still try to make it out to at least 3 or 4 overnight offroad trips a year. Next trip will be Big Bear in July! I think you're a little off. The shell on a turtle is thicker by a factor of 1.6783 while compared to the speed of a Puma, when chasing a rabbit. Therefore, if you hit a nail with a 4 lb. hammer, the thickness of the wood needs to be 4, and your grip should be on your lower regions.

If you look further in his thread you can see the body damage. Might be a weird angle of that picture or something.
