Jk fenders on tj?

Ok before people start asking why i would ever want to do that, just hear me out......

There was this badass yj that pulled up next to me at pepboys. And not only did it have a jurassic park themed paint job, it was also had 5 cylinder Mercedes diesel. It also had jk flares in the front. This idea intrigued me... Im wondering if anyone out there is running them... I would trim them though so my jeep doesn't take flight on the turn pike. But yeah and input, thoughts, or feelings would be much appreciated.

Go for the 5 cyl Mercedes diesel mod instead of the dumbo ear JK flare mod.

IDK about that... I certainly wouldn't object if I found someone had swapped my TJ 44 and D30 for some JK44's

for the love of all things wipe those thoughts from your head and move along,,,,,, JK flares are retarded on a TJ. Lets not forget anyone that drives a YJ is continually trying to fit in -the sqaure headlights made them the bastard step child. Now all they can do is wear other Jeeps parts to try and fit in....

But if you must know your answer look here:

Haha, idk if it was a mistake to post that thread or not

We need to make a list...

Good idea jk swap parts:
1. Axles
2. Seats
3. Headlights (if you get them cheap & change the bulbs)
4. Springs & shocks (if you get the right spring rate & get them cheap)
5. Wheels
6. Turn signals
7. Shift boot if you remove your front half of the center console

Bad idea jk swap parts:
1. Bumpers
2. Fenders
3. Misc trim items
4. Most everything else not listed in the "good idea" list

Why use the single ugliest part of a jk? Thats The worst idea ever!
I would run no fenders at all first.

It's called being creative or Ad-libing or even "Oops I ripped my fender off while wheeling and this fender just happen to be laying on the ground at the time".

Its your jeep. Do Whatever u need to do.
they look hideous! They look big, might offer less clearance Than bushwacker pocket flairs.
Good luck what ever u choose.

I owned a JK for 5 years and just bought a TJ, no way I would ever put JK parts on a TJ lol. Went to a TJ because I felt they were much more classic jeep than JK.
