hello i recently got a jeep wrangler 99' sahara, i am 16 so i am doing everything to it with the help of my parents. I want to lift it and put 35s... what is necessary and good to run that setup?
As a minimum you need a budget of $5,000+ before even thinking about 35" tires. Search and read as much as you can, don't do anything for about 6 months while you learn how to do this correctly as you can within your budget.
Fill-in your profile so that others can help you... IMO
Congrats on (I guess) your first vehicle, and a Jeep Wrangler no less. And welcome to the forum. I drive a stock TJ and can't give any first hand experience on lifts, but as a father on three, now grown, children, I can say take your time, and get the basics of driving down first.
In the meantime, do plenty of reading and research, this Jeep Forum is a great resource, and many members, like the 2 above, are very knowledgable and helpful. From what I have learned, when the time comes, there is a huge difference in requirements for running 33s and running 35s. I'm sure also in safety and handling of the vehicle.
