Jeep wont turn

my jeep died, I checked the battery terminals. I jumped it and the alternator gauge stayed at 14. I got home and shut it off and it has no power, no lights, no clicks. The battery tested excellent about six months ago and has showed no signs of dying.

Sounds dead to me. Pull the batt and charge it, then test it. If its ok after a charge look for a parasitic draw.

Make sure the terminals are clean (shiny) and tight also.

6 mos ago would've been January, here in MN it was -20F. So I guess what I am saying is that a good battery then might not be a good battery now, especially with the recent heat.
Replace the battery.

I had the same issue. The positive cable needed to be tightened. Additionally, I figured it was time to replace the alternator as it still had the original.
