Sorry,no info. What they should do is a limited partnership with ford and make some 8.8 setups for TJs.

Come on now. You know you have a picture of an 8.8 on the ceiling of your bedroom.

JK D44's are MUCH stronger than an 8.8.

Thicker tubes, higher spline count, high pinion fronts, "HD" stronger housings, they're much stronger than TJ D44s.

If Jeep offers these axles at a price close to what they're asking for 2 JK D44s, I'd buy a set! Sell my TJ D44 and D30 and recoupe most of the cost. Hopefully if they do offer this, they put 5x5.5 pattern on it, (I'd even settle for 5x4.5).

You've been reading the internet again. While I have no particular dislike for the 8.8 and do believe it's a most viable option for anyone who cares to tinker a bit, there's not enough value there to develop any kind of a partnership building them, much less between Ford and anyone.

That's like telling someone to set up and build D-35's with bigger tubes.

The bolt in for JK versions come complete from rotor to rotor, front and rear, but without steering linkage I think

Trust me, I'm well familiar with the concept and even help develop some nice stuff for the 8.8. I just don't see enough value to base any kind of a modification venture on.
