Jeep modifications

I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport with a 4" skyjacker lift, K&N air intake, Jet chip module, 33 X 12.5 Firestone Duellers on 15 X 8" black American Racing Rims.

Can I put 35s on my 4" lift? Do I have to change my gears?

You would probably want a spacer lift or a body lift to fit the 35's w/out rubbing. What gears do you have now? Generally when people go 35's they install 4.56 or 4.88's for a 5 spd.

assuming you have stock gears, you would need to get them replaced with the 35's. don't wait until you put the 35's on, do them before hand.

Without a doubt, you will need new gears.

You will need new gears, you will need to upgrade your rear axle if you have a dana 35 to a super dana or a dana 44, you will also need an SYE and an extended driveshaft.

I have the original gears in it, what gears will I have to get and is it expensive to purchase and install. Also, I found someone who makes custom SYE for around 500. Is it necessary?
