Jeep lift with tires
I'm lifting my TJ with a 2" skyjacker coil spacer and a 1 inch body lift and i plan to put 33" by 10.5" tires underneath. this is the first project i have ever worked on so i want to make sure everything will work out alright.
Does anyone this this is a bad set up?

That is a great choice for a first build. If you are using stock wheels, you may have to put a washer behind the steering stops if you have any rubbing but that's no big deal. Get the Skyjacker hydro shocks to go with it and it should ride great.

I believe he wanted to know to the bottom of the frame so roughly 1.75" of lift (aren't 2"BB usually 1.75"???) plus the 2.5" for the tires depending on what kind of tires he gets. Most 33" tires aren't 33" exactly, but they vary depending on manufacturer.

You may or may not have a little rubbing...hard to tell. If it was me, then yes, you should get adjustable track bars for the front and back. You could get relocation brackets but I think the adjustable track bars are the way to go--no drilling and they are adjustable. They cost more but are worth it IMO. You won't NEED them since you're doing a smaller lift, but I would advise them since that's what I'll be doing.

I have 33X10.5 and they slightly rub the sway bar at full lock.

Ive got a 2" pucks in the back and 3" coils up front. My front axle is off a tiny bit, but not enough to worry about a new track bar yet...just saving my money for a full lift, but thats about 2 years away(College). I have been runnin this for about a year with not problems. Good luck.

2" you won't have any problems with trackbars, leave them alone. if you plan to disconnect then you need to extend the front bumpstops. a set of 2" extensions would pay for themselves very quickly when you don't destroy your fenders. Here is mine with 2" and 32's, disconnected.
![]() I didn't extend my front bump stops because I was told that 32's would fit and 33's would fit with a 1" bodylift. A friend of mine went with the body lift and 33's. He did the same thing and now is running tube fenders.
