Jeep Left Topless in the rain, some issues.

Ok so heres the deal, went to replace my powersteering pump/gearbox one night broke a bolt and had to wait till the next day to get the right part. well, we pushed the jeep out of the shop into the lot and because it was topless we threw a tarp over it. bad news was the tarp had some holes in it. came back the next day and both front seats were soaked, no big deal right? well the seats dried out but a day later my airbag light came on and my horn no longer works. ive heard of the connectors in the steering wheel itself getting wet and messing up. was wondering if anyone has any fix asides from waiting to see if it dries out? oh yea, i also have already checked all the fuses/relays and all is good there. any ideas?

i had a similar experience..... what i did was get a household fan and with extension cords i put the fan behind the steering wheel and had it blow in the crevice on top of the steering colum for like 15 hours and that seemed to do the trick.

Definitely the clockspring. It's happened to a countless number of TJ owners. The water gets in there, and corrodes the wiring in/on the clockspring and it stops working. (The clockspring is a bunch of wires that connect your airbag and horn through the steering wheel.)

I've got an extra one for sale for a TJ with no cruise control. $80 shipped.
