jeep is leaning...

after i installed the rockhard rear bumper with swing away tire carrier .. the jeep has been sitting lower on the back right (passengers) side .. is this because that's where the swing arm connects thus adding most of the weight of the tire carrier portion?

how do i fix this?

Fill in your profile so we know more about your Jeep and can help you. Do you have a lift? That sag/lean is often caused by the torque of the engine putting uneven stress on each spring, which results in premature wear of some springs.

x2....this is why "some" lifts have different right and left rear springs, one is taller than the other....OME lifts give you a larger RR spring to combat this.

hmm .. i used to have my profile listed .. but i guess it was deleted somehow.. anyways, it's back up now!

i have a small sky jacker lift..i dunno how long it has been on, as i bought the jeep with it on.

so have i just been dumb and didn't notice the sag on one side .. or did the installation of the bumper just make it more obvious?

The profile format was changed a while back, which is probably why your was missing.

Its likely a little of both, a small lean probably didnt stand out, but with that corner spring more worn the extra weight probably made it sag more than the passenger side. You could stick a 1/2" spacer (or whatever the differnce) in that corner to combat it for cheap if it bothers you, or replace the springs.
