It's Xmas....build your ultimate TJ???

So it's Christmas and you're going to buy yourself the ultimate TJ (after you've spent an equivalent amount on 'she (or he ) who must be obeyed' of course). What would you get Santa to build?

RULES:
1) YOU ONLY HAVE $40,000
2) You must start with a stock TJ
3) It MUST be trail-ready
4) You must allow for labor (add 15% onto your parts)

I'd start with a clean, used '98 TJ Wrangler Sport 4.0L (black, of course) and rip off all the unnecessary bits e.g. carpets, rear seat etc. Then I'd add the following:
• ARB Bull-Bar
• OR-Fab rear bumper and tire carrier
• Skyjacker rock ready 4” lift
• Currie’s Anti-Rock sway bar
• WarnXD9000i
• Rock Hard Sport cage
• Advance Adapters Atlas II 4.3:1 transfer case
• rear axle - reverse cut Dana 60 with disc brakes, 4.56 gears, and a Detroit locker
• front axle- Currie Enterprises 9” with 4.56 gears
• ARB air locker
• Bushwacker 6” flares
• 35x12.5x15 swampers
• 15x10 Heavy Duty black bead lock wheels from Marsh Racing
• Mastercraft one-piece bucket seats
• Sundry armor, bikini tops etc.

And I reckon that gives me change for a weekend trip to the Rubicon!!!!

Happy Dreamin', Wheelin' and Holidays

Just kidding, i'm not a f#@king dumb@$$. that would be a waste. I like the Brute idea but the AEV Hemi TJ with the AirRoc would be pretty nice. I have grown attachted to my yellow TJ so I would have to reconstruct the AEV into my own, I could never give it away and start with a brand new vehicle.

well maybe....for an H2 I could.

OK so I'll relax the labor restriction...there you go, an extra $5k. BTW how much is the Brute.

I guess not everyone is as lazy (and stupid) as I am. Just found the AEV website. The LWB 112 is awesome, shame they discontinued it.

ok with my silver 00 TJ (ill go ground up)

37" BFG Krawlers on beadlocks
D60s front and rear w/ Detroit frt Spool Rear
LS1 engine
Twin Stick Dana 300 TC

Lift would be about 7", including:
RE adj lower short arms
RE 5.5 springs
Fox Shox
Custom Triangulated front and rear
1" BL/MML
whatever trimming might need to be done

Belly Up
OBA
Full Custom Cage
Master Craft Seats (front only, removed the back)
Line-x'd interior
Flat Fenders

theres prolly more and i also exempt myself from the $40,000 rule, because im prolly one of the youngest here and I still believe in Santa so x-mas has no pricetag for me....

I wish...stupid x-mas presents takin all my jeep money

I do some crazy custom lift like whatever would be needed to fit those new mickey thompson 46" baja claws. And some 60's for sure. then a new t-case some 4.88's or lower, who knows, 40,000 is the limit lol.

I'd spend about $20,000 on building up the sport I have now... lift, tires, wheels, bumpers, gears, lockers, and a bunch of other great accessories and then the other $20,000 on this...

http://www.toyota.com/prius/

so I could go with 35's instead of 33's like I'm planning since it's my DD (60+ miles a day ). Then I could also use the money I saved on gas to go towards even more fun Jeep stuff.
